Gemma Butler lives in Dorset with her family, making the most of all that the beautiful countryside has to offer. She achieved a Bachelor’s in English Literature and Creative Writing from Cardiff University, where she began to gather ideas for her book, Mire. It has always been a dream of hers to write a novel, therefore in 2020 she made the decision to study a Master’s in Creative Writing and Publishing at Bournemouth University.
