Emily White is a Dorset-based writer of short stories and contemporary fiction. She spent much of her childhood creating implausible stories about hybrid creatures, and living vicariously through animal-themed children’s books.
During her undergraduate degree at the University of Gloucestershire, she channelled her interest in Freudian psychoanalysis into her short stories. Much of her writing examines the themes of mental health and the everchanging nature of humanity. She is currently studying an MA in Creative Writing and Publishing at Bournemouth University. Emily spends much of her free time reading, writing book reviews, and posting about her love of books on Instagram. She is the proud owner of a one-year-old cat called Merlin, and dreams of escaping the grey drizzle of Britain to travel with world.
